Nick Powell – Welcome to Manchester United

Manchester United Video Rating: four / 5

Well, buying both Kagawa, Buttner and van Persie in one transfer period isn’t really gonna help now is it? I’m probably even missing some other transfers. I just don’t get it… :S

The Glazers could buy over the club as MU was a PLC then. The Glazers borrowed a ton of cash to buy all the stocks and then transferred all the debt on MU. No one liked it and wanted it to happen…but hey thats the business life. Anyway the debt has dropped below 400m pounds so hopefully it keeps dropping.

I watched the game last night for the first time this child with galatasaray. Seeing the his perfect game so taht I watched the video to come here to learn more..he’ ll be A great footballer..FROM TURKEY …FENERBAHÇE….

I think he’s the closest one to be the next paul scholes. but i don’t think he’s gonna be as good as him.

shame it’s been paired with the cheesiest, gayest most annoying excuse for a ‘song’ i’ve ever heard

anyway, because of what pep did when he was manager, in 2010 barca made a loss of approximately €79 million over the course of the year, despite having defended their La Liga title and winning the CL. due to the high salaries of their players and high transfers. in 2012, it was reported that the club had a loss of €578m. their debts are not decreasing, it is increacing.

dont think the debts will affact the club that much, unless glazers refuse to give any transfer budget. because of the high reputation at the moment. if the glazers go bankrupt, they would be forced to sell the club to pay off their debts, and the club will just be bought over by the highest bidder, which will be another billionaire. or the glazers could just combine with another billionaire company to lighten their debt.

Well let’s talk business than: Man. U shouldn’t ever have let the Glazers buy the club if they brought so much debts in it. They probably bought it because Man. U wasn’t run properly and needed the deal to happen, or Man. U was just ignorant and clueless and made the deal happen. Barcelona (as you took as an example) is clearing debts away as we speak, so although it’s uncalled for, they’re clearing their massive debt pile piece by piece…

definitely. with the right training, powell can become the next scholes, when he is 20+. he already has great long shots. right now, rooney is playing schole’s position

yeh, but the debt used to be higher. it used to be £716m($1.2 billion).glazers bought the club and transfered all their debts into the club, thats why the fans hate them.the debt increases by every year, due to the interest.its impossible to totally repay the debt, even the CL earnings is only enough to repay the interest for that season.all big clubs have huge debt, barca had €483m debt($620m). only way to clear it is to get new owers who are willing to wipe off the debt, like man city’s owner

Suppose. I still think that Powell and Cleverley are the future of the Man U midfield and (along with Wilshere) the England midfield too.

Yeah I agree. I think it’s just a little amusing that someone says: “good job scouts”, when Man. U buy the Bundesliga player of the year and the BPL player of the year. Shouldn’t be to hard to figure out that they make for good signings. As for all the financial stuff and the Glazers, I don’t know to much about that. Got this out of a recent report though: According to the filing, the club’s debts stood at an eye-watering $664 million in March… it’s putting the club’s competitiveness at risk

for an 18 year old, this kid’s shooting skills is excellent. a few more touches by ferguson and he will make it as a great player

the debt was due to the glazer take over. man utd has been earning more money than any other clubs in the premierleague over the years. thats why man utd are not afraid of the FFP rules. sure they have some big signings, but they have many signings of small rep players who turned out big too, like chicharito, vidic and many others

anderson is getting better, the other day, he had 3 assist in the league cup, before ferguson took him out.

Yeah must have been difficult figuring out that van Persie and Kagawa are tremendous players. I bet the other clubs couldn’t figure that out and didn’t know that Kagawa was crowned player of the year in the Bundesliga and van Persie was crowned player of the year in the BPL.
The only difference between clubs like you and a club like Arsenal that you beat today, is that Arsenal is financially healthy and can’t buy these players and you still do despite having 440 million pound in debts. Go Man U!

United have never finished outside the top 4. How many times have Fulham finished in the top 4? You’re being a joke. People have been saying United will go into decline for years now, but they keep on winning.
City robbed us of the title, agreed. But given the injury problems and the bad decisions (Yes, look it up), the fact that they won it only on goal difference is disgraceful to them, given how much they spent.
As for Chelsea, they’ve been playing well but come back when they win the league.

You argument is in fact, invalid. Check out the study conducted by a neutral panel about how wrong decisions affected the table.
If ALL decisions for ALL teams had been given correctly, United would be 5 points ahead of City going into the last game last season; league winners. Now we all know how it actually turned out.
