Manchester United will be taking on Real Sociedad in the Champions league group match looking to put 1 foot into the last 16 stage with the victory. Real Sociedad are bottom of the group and United are the favourites to get three points from this match. After three group matches, the Spanish club are yet to take a point, but they will be feeling confident of this encounter because of various reasons. David Moyes has also said that he is not going to take the opposition lightly just because they have not taken any points so far.

Real Sociedad had a very poor start to the season, but they are slowly improving with every match. They have suffered just one defeat in the last five matches and the too came against United in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford. They are also undefeated in the last five matches at their home. They prepared for this match with a convincing 5-0 win over Osasuna during the weekend, while United won 3-1 against Fulham. Despite the good run of form that United have been carrying over the last few weeks, they are still eighth in the table – several points behind table leaders Arsenal.

Moyes has also said that United have not changed tactics from early season when they were struggling for form.

“I certainly won’t take anything for granted. I have a lot of respect for Sociedad, and we will have to play well on Tuesday if we are going to get those 10 points which will get us over the line. But we have got ourselves in a good position in the group and we have to try to maintain that. There is nothing which we have done differently. Everything we’re doing in this Champions League we’re doing in the Premier League as well,” said Moyes.
