Hernandez Future Still Cloudy

The future of Javier Hernandez in Old Trafford has always looked rather cloudy as the Mexican forward could never find a place in the starting lineup of any manager that has arrived to take up the hot seat position of the club. Most of his appearances were made as an impact substitute player.

The Mexican attacker is being linked with a move away from Manchester United and not even his agent is sure about what the future will bring concerning his client.

The agent of Javier Hernandez, Eduardo Hernandez said: “One day he is nearing one team, the next day another, and it will be like that until the end of the transfer window. He is calm; he has a contract with Manchester United. I cannot say anything on Inter and Juventus, they are only rumours. The future? I don’t know, he could stay or leave.”

Javier Hernandez was featured in the opening match of the season for Manchester United as he played alongside Wayne Rooney but the Mexican played failed to make any impact and seemed to struggle throughout the entire match. It’s highly unlikely that Louis van Gaal will utilize Hernandez as a starting player after Robin van Persie makes his return.

Louis van Gaal decided to give enough rest to Robin van Persie in order for the Dutchman to be fully fit and ready to play in full force in the Premier League and this is why he was not featured in Manchester United’s match against Swansea City but he is expected to make his return on August 24 when United lock horns with Sunderland.

With Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie both performing in the starting lineup of Louis van Gaal this leaves no place for Javier Hernandez.
