In the following two articles in 2004, I was drumming up support for the Sugar Factory restoration. I foresaw the Sugar Factory being an arts complex that could attract people from all around the valley to what was likely to be a unique venue for artistic and other endeavors. At this stage,we were operating on much less information than we have available to us now. We now know that it will take several million dollars to rennovate each building in the Sugar Factory to be used for another purpose, but the studies that have been done have shown that they are indeed feasible. These articles show my support for this project from the start.
