What is the relationship between this site and the City of West Jordan |

Where do I begin? Let's see . . . there is, oh, that's not one. How about . . . nope, not that either. Well, I guess there isn't a relationship other than the fact that I live in the city of West Jordan and serve on the city council there and both the city and this site have the name "West Jordan" in their titles. However, the city does what it wants with the city web site and I do what I want to with this one. I pay for this site out of my own pocket as a public service to the community and out of my own, personal, non-taxypayer-funded discressionary income, while the city pays for its site out of taxpayer dollars at the council's direction to provide information and communication to the community. But the city has nothing to do with the West Jordan Forum in providing any content that is not available to any member of the public who walked into city hall and asked for the same things you may read here. Except for specific legal and personnel matters that the city council has to keep confidential, it's all public information and available for the asking.
